Kyzyl-Tuu crossing
The Kyzyl-Tuu crossing (Iradi: Kyzyl-Tuu chek ara ötkölü) is the main crossing between the Irad Special Economic Zone (ISEZ) and Uzbekistan on the Tash-Kömür side of the Lower Naryn District, about 2 kilometers west-south-west of the village of Kyzyl-Tuu and about 27 kilometers south of Tash-Kömür, at about 41°06′N 72°11′E. The road through it leads to the Uzbek town of Uchkurgan and to Namangan, and it is the main exit for the road traffic from State Route 1 and the farm belt that crosses Uzbekistan.[1] The Gendarmerie's Border Demarcation Brigade and the ISEZ customs service staff the Iradi post. Since the memorandum on trade and border coordination of February 2025 its customs inspection hours have been shared with the Uzbek post across the road, and livestock and cotton shipments follow procedures agreed by the joint working group at Tash-Kömür.[2]
