Izbaskan crossing
From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia
The Izbaskan crossing (Iradi: Izbaskan chek ara ötkölü) is a crossing between the Irad Special Economic Zone (ISEZ) and Uzbekistan on the edge of the market town of Izbaskan in the Fergana rim farm belt of the Lower Naryn District, about 34 kilometers west of Bazar-Korgon, at about 41°02′N 72°21′E, on the road to Andijan, about 28 kilometers away.[1] It has a Gendarmerie post with a desk of the ISEZ customs service and is open from dawn to dusk to pedestrians, cars, buses and farm traffic, but it does not clear freight, which goes through the main crossings at Kyzyl-Tuu and Dostuk.[2]
