Boz-Tektir

Boz-Tektir ("grey terrace") is a dry steppe terrace above the middle Talas valley, in the Talas District of the Irad Special Economic Zone (ISEZ). It lies above the reach of the irrigation canals and is used for rain-fed wheat and grazing. Since 2021 it has been the site of the 50-megawatt Talas Solar Park.[1] It is unrelated to the Boz-Korgon compound, which lies far to the north-east, near Nurzhan.
