Talas Free Economic Trade Zone
From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia
The Talas Free Economic Trade Zone is a bonded industrial park on the northern outskirts of Talas, established in 2009 by the ISEZ government. Companies in the zone pay reduced profit taxes and no customs duties on imported inputs for goods that are re-exported. Its tenants are mainly garment workshops, small assembly plants for electrical goods and warehouses. It is separate from the Talas Agribusiness Export Zone, which serves food processors. Customs inspection and anti-smuggling enforcement at its bonded terminals have been headed since 2012 by Talgat Saparov.[1]
