Hippodrome Form Guide
Hippodrome Form Guide is a horse racing preview program on IradOne, shown on Fridays at 19:30 ahead of the evening's race meeting at the Irad State Hippodrome in Talas, which OneSport broadcasts live later that night. Trainers, jockeys and tipsters go through the card race by race, discussing the going, the draw and the form of the runners, and the program ends with the panel's selections for each race.[1]
It was launched in 2017, when Hippodrome Weekly was reduced to a winter season, and has been presented since then by Marlen Abdraimov, a former jockey who rode at the Hippodrome in the 2000s. Most races on the card are for Akyel horses, but the panel also covers the Chongtor sprints and the long bayge, for which, regular guests say, form counts for less than the weather.[1]
