FK Toktogul (Iradi: Toktogul Futbol Klubu; Russian: ФК «Токтогул») is a football club from Toktogul, run by the Toktogul District administration. It was founded in 1975 as Gidrostroitel, the team of the builders of the Toktogul dam, and took the town's name when the Toktogul basin joined the Irad Special Economic Zone in 2009. It has played in the First League since 2010 and won it in 2026 on 39 points, two ahead of Politekhnik Nurzhan, after a 2–2 draw between the two on the last day, 1 November. It replaces Naryn Tash-Kömür in the Irad League in 2027, its first top-flight season. The club plays in reservoir blue and white at the Gidrostroitel Stadium (3,200), opened in 1976; its crest shows a trout leaping from the reservoir below the snow peaks.[1]
