Cook with Ayyub
Cook with Ayyub is a daytime cooking program broadcast by IradOne on weekdays at 11:30. Each half-hour edition is devoted to one dish of Iradi cuisine and of the ISEZ's other communities, among them beshbarmak with lamb, kuurdak, manty, beef kazy, lamb shorpo, Irad paloosu, özbek paloo cooked in a wedding cauldron, Koryoin laghman, Nurzhan-style stuffed peppers and Semiz tamales.[1] It is presented by Ayyub Sultanaliev, a former chef at a Talas hotel restaurant, and was launched in 2012. Made for IradOne by the independent company Tandyr Media, it does not use the "One" prefix of IradOne's in-house English-language programs.[1] In keeping with the horsemeat taboo, it has never cooked horsemeat, and it has given several editions to the difference between the household Irad paloosu and the long-grain plov cooked by men for weddings.[2]
