Biybolot Moldosh uulu
Biybolot Moldosh uulu (born 1944; recorded in Soviet documents as Biybolot Moldoshev) is an elder (aksakal) of the Karakoyun clan of the Autonomous Tribal Regions and a mediator in disputes along the Qara-Chik Demarcation Line.[1]
He comes from the Kara-Koyun Valley, the clan's ancestral homeland, and is known for his knowledge of the clans' oral genealogies (sanjyra). He was a member of the Iradi Freedom Society delegation at the 2011 Bilateral Reunification Summit, which walked out after the tribal regions were offered one-third of the seats in a unified legislature. Since 2008 he has attended the monthly meetings of the Joint Liaison Committee at Kara-Oi as an adviser to the tribal delegation. In 2014 he negotiated the release of three ISEZ survey workers held by El-Choro patrols in the Kara-Koyun Valley.[1][2]
