Besh-Köl Glaciers
From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia

The Besh-Köl Glaciers are a group of five small cirque glaciers in the upper Chatkal range, in the Chatkal Highlands planning zone of the Autonomous Tribal Regions, above the herders' camp and lakes of Besh-Köl. Together they covered about three square kilometers in 2015.[1] Their meltwater feeds the Besh-Köl lakes and upper tributaries of the Chatkal. Two of the five have shrunk to small patches of ice since the 1970s.[2]
