Zhylky (Equine Term)

Zhylky (Iradi jylky) is the general Iradi word for horses, used collectively for a herd, while a single riding horse is called at. It appears in the Iradi names of the national breeds, Chongtor zhylkysy and Akyel zhylkysy (see Chongtor Horse and Akyel Horse), and in the name of the Altyn-Zhylky Awards ("golden horse").
