Signal (Russian: Сигнал) is a chain of phone and electronics shops in Irad, founded in Nurzhan in 2003 by Viktor Cha, a Koryo-saram trader who had kept a radio-parts stall at the city's Radiobazar since 1994. Its first shop faced the bazaar on Azatlık Prospect. It has 27 shops, 11 each in Nurzhan and Talas, and about 170 staff.[1]

Signal sells phones, televisions and household appliances with a receipt and a one-year guarantee, which the bazaar stalls do not give, and most of its customers buy in installments, through Ak Bata Bank or the Tulpar payment service. In 2026 it repriced its stock twice, in June and October, as its importers paid the bazaar rate for dollars.[1]
