Nurzhan Asphalt and Bitumen Plant
From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia
The Nurzhan Asphalt and Bitumen Plant is a plant in the eastern industrial zone of Nurzhan, next to Nurzhan Refinery No. 1, that makes road bitumen from the refinery's heavy residues. Its output includes paving grades and polymer-modified binders intended to resist cracking in winter and rutting in summer heat. Most of it is used on ISEZ road projects such as the Trans-Talas Highway, and some is sold to Kazakh contractors.[1]
