Kalybek Erlan uulu

Kalybek Erlan uulu (born 1982) is a teacher of the Boztorgoy clan who runs the only boarding school in the Moiynkum steppe, in the Autonomous Tribal Regions, paid for from the clan council's share of Toktogul revenue. About 120 herders' children board there from October to May. The school teaches in Iradi, with Russian and Kazakh, and since 2019 its leavers have sat the ISEZ Graduation Test in Nurzhan.^[1]
