Iyık Janyl Diocesan Archives Vault

The Iyık Janyl Diocesan Archives Vault is the record store of the Archeparchy of Iyık Janyl, below the chapter house beside the Church of St. Janyl. It holds parish registers of baptisms, marriages and burials from the 18th century onward, records of church property and charitable foundations, and the correspondence of the archbishops with the Holy See.^[1] The climate-controlled vault was built in 2006 with a grant from Catholic agencies abroad. Manuscripts are kept separately in the Cathedral Seminary Library of Iyık Janyl.^[1]
