Burul Turdubek kyzy

From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia

Burul Turdubek kyzy (born 1969) is an Iradi community organizer who set up the women's councils of the Tanıp villages in the Talas Alatau, in the Autonomous Tribal Regions. In 2016 she brought in the villages' first piped-water scheme with UNMI money. The councils now decide how aid money for water and schools is spent in their villages, which was unheard of among the clans before 2010.[1]
