Ak-Bash
From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia
Ak-Bash ("white head") is a glaciated limestone peak of 3,680 meters (12,070 ft) in the high Chatkal range, in the Chatkal Highlands planning zone of the Autonomous Tribal Regions. Small glaciers cling to its northern side, and its pale summit is visible from the upper Chatkal valley.[1] Alpine pastures below it are grazed in summer. The Kylych-Kyr arête links it with a higher summit to the north.[2]
