Tursunbai Ayyub uulu
From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia
Tursunbai Ayyub uulu (1888–1951) was an Iradi breeder of Chongtor horses who led the Wartime Mobilization Strike of 1944. When the army came back for the Chongtor breeding stallions, after the horses of the Talas division had been lost, he is remembered as the first to say "we gave the stallions once" as the breeders drove them into the high valleys. He was sentenced to ten years and died in a camp (see Iradi SSR in the Second World War).[1]
