Pitch Talk
Pitch Talk is a football magazine program on IradOne covering the Irad League, the eight-club First League and the Women's League (see Football in Irad). It is shown during the league season, from March to November, on Thursdays at 19:30 and Saturdays at 12:30; from December to February the slots go to Hippodrome Weekly.[1]
The program was launched in 2017 and is made for IradOne Sport by the independent Talas company Touchline Media, which is why it does not carry the "One" prefix of IradOne's own English-language programs. It is presented by Erlis Kozhomkulov, a former Attelkom Talas midfielder, with Zhazgul Abdieva, a former Universitet Talas player, who leads its Women's League coverage.[1] Supporters of Neftchi Nurzhan have accused it of favoring Tulpar Talas, owned since 2011 by the Talas Commercial Development Group of the Governor's son Adil Toktarov, particularly in its coverage of the Kara-Ak derby; the producers deny any bias.[2]
