Nurai Bakyt kyzy

Nurai Bakyt kyzy (born 1996) is an Iradi singer from a Karakoyun herding family in the Autonomous Tribal Regions, now based in Bishkek, whose songs about leaving the high pastures have tens of millions of views on YouTube. She sings in Iradi in the highland speech. She has never performed in the ISEZ, and has said she will sing in Talas "when my grandmother can come without a passport".^[1]
