NurGaz Worker Housing Complex
From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia
The NurGaz Worker Housing Complex is a residential estate in the northern part of Nurzhan built by NurGaz and the Bekzatov Foundation for oil and refinery workers. Its first blocks were completed in 2004, and it has about 2,800 apartments, which employees rent at subsidized rates or buy with company loans.[1] Analysts regard the estate, with the company's clinics and schools, as part of the social base of Kamran Bekzatov's political influence in the city.[2]
