Nan Tako

From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia

Nan tako is a street food of Semiz, the Mexican district of Talas: grilled beef folded into tandoor flatbread (nan) with a salsa of beet suzma and chiles from Semiz gardens. It joined the "Talas tortillas" of yellow maize and the beef tacos sold to students, and the small hot Semiz kalempir pepper used in it has entered Iradi pickles.[1]
