Maksym
From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia
Maksym is a cool, slightly sour fermented drink of barley or maize flour and water, sold in summer from barrels and bottles across Irad. It is low in alcohol and is drunk as a refreshment with meals and on hot days. A thicker, stronger form, jarma, is made in the villages.[1]
