Kosh-Bel
From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia
Kosh-Bel ("camp saddle") is a hamlet at about 2,400 meters on the migration route from the Toktogul basin to the summer pastures of the Fergana Range, in the Toktogul–Naryn planning zone of the Autonomous Tribal Regions (ATR). About 150 people live there year-round.[1] In late May and in September the herds of the lower villages pass through, and the hamlet's families sell hay, flour and fuel to herders and keep a veterinary post where animals are vaccinated before moving on.[2]
