Kara-Bulak Agricultural Cooperative

From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia

The Kara-Bulak Agricultural Cooperative is a farmers' cooperative based in the market town of Kara-Bulak in the central Talas valley. Formed in 1996 by about 140 households after the break-up of the local state farm, it owns combine harvesters, seed-cleaning equipment and a grain store and markets its members' wheat and barley.[1] It uses the Kara-Bulak Grain Logistics Depot for drying and storage.[1]
