Kanybek Toktorbai uulu

Kanybek Toktorbai uulu (registered as Kanybek Toktorbaev; 1940–1992) was an Iradi priest who from 1990 said the open-air liturgies outside the closed Church of St. Yuhanna in Talas. A sniper killed him on the Old City bridge in May 1992, during the siege of Talas.[1]
