International Diplomatic Hotel
The International Diplomatic Hotel (Iradi: El aralık Diplomatiyalık Meymankana; Russian: Международный дипломатический отель), known in Talas as "the Diplomatic", is a hotel off the central square of Talas, owned by Adil Toktarov's Talas Commercial Development Group. It opened on 11 March 2012, Irad Day.[1]
The hotel has twelve floors and 186 rooms, including 14 suites and a closed floor kept for official guests, a 600-seat ballroom and a conference hall with interpretation booths, where visiting trade delegations, the United Nations Mission in Irad and the boards of oil and mining companies meet the government. It has the only hotel swimming pool in Talas and about 310 staff. The New Year ball of the Anara Toktarova Children's Fund has been held in its ballroom every December since 2012. Its general manager since 2023 has been the Turkish hotelier Levent Kocabaş.[1]
