Gulmira Saparova
From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia
Gulmira Saparova (born 1968) is an Iradi judge who has sat on the Talas District Court since 2006. She is known for rulings in environmental cases, including a 2011 judgment ordering a construction company to clear an unlicensed dump on the Talas River floodplain and a 2016 judgment fining a feedlot operator for discharging waste into irrigation canals.[1] Environmental lawyers cite the cases as rare examples of the ISEZ courts enforcing pollution law against well-connected companies.[2]
