Chagylgan (Horse)
From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia
Chagylgan (Iradi: "lightning flash"; foaled 2006) is a bay Chongtor gelding with a blaze, owned by the presenter Sagynbek Sopuev, who has ridden him on IradOne's weekly farming program Field and Herd since 2009.[1]
On television
Each Saturday program opens with Sopuev riding Chagylgan into the shot, and closes with the pasture report filmed from the saddle. Chagylgan is a regular in IradOne's coverage of Irad Day. A clip from 2021 in which he eats the paper chart of the irrigation water schedule is IradOne's most-shared video, and children write to him care of the program.[1][2]
