Bel-Baa
From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia
Bel-Baa (from bel, "waist", and baa, "tie") is a sash of woven silk or tooled leather worn over a man's quilted coat (chapan), often fitted with silver plaques. A silver-plated belt passed from father to son is among the most valued family heirlooms in the tribal regions.
