Bakhtiyar Nazarov

Bakhtiyar Nazarov (born 1970) is an Iradi former geography teacher and politician who has been mayor of Iyık Janyl, appointed by the Governor, since 2021.[1]
Early life and career
Nazarov was born in Iyık Janyl in 1970 and graduated in geography from Talas State University in 1992. He taught geography in Iyık Janyl from 1992 to 2003 and then worked in the city's education office until 2012.[1]
City government
From 2012 to 2021 Nazarov was deputy mayor for social affairs, and in 2021 he became mayor. The main job of his department each year is the city's arrangements for the pilgrims who come to the Church of St. Janyl, the cathedral of the Archeparchy, above all for the Feast of St. Janyl: parking, drinking water and first aid.[1]
Personal life
Nazarov is married and has four children.[1]
