From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia
Anna Syrgak kyzy (born 1999) is an Iradi campaigner against bride kidnapping from the Autonomous Tribal Regions, now living in Talas, who works with Klara Zhumabek kyzy. She was kidnapped for marriage at seventeen and walked home after two days, a story she told in a Talas Herald interview in 2022 and now tells in schools. She asks the elders' courts to treat kidnapping as a wrong rather than a done deal.[1]
