Tashbolot Sarybai uulu
From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia
Tashbolot Sarybai uulu (born 1971) is an Iradi horse-breaker and rider of the El-Choro from the Chatkal in the Autonomous Tribal Regions. In the winter of 2010, when avalanches cut off 34 herders on the Chatkal passes and helicopters could not land, he went up with twelve riders and a string of packhorses and brought all 34 down in four days. The rescue is the El-Choro's proudest story and has its own song.[1]
