Talas Equestrian Club

The Talas Equestrian Club is a riding club in Talas for showjumping and dressage. It occupies the old riding school of the Soviet Dynamo sports society, and its members come mostly from wealthy families and the diplomatic community.[1]
Most of Irad's roughly 400 sport warmbloods and Budyonny horses are kept at the club. The Budyonnys are what is left of the Dynamo school's Soviet string; the warmbloods have been imported since the 1990s. The club stands apart from the traditional sports run by the National Equestrian Sports Directorate (see Iradi Equestrian Culture & Breeds).[1]
