Sartbai Tokon uulu

Sartbai Tokon uulu (registered as Sartbai Tokonov; born 1963) is an Iradi cardiac surgeon who heads cardiac surgery at the Regional Hospital in Talas. Trained in Moscow and Ankara, he came home in 2008, and in 2011 performed the first open-heart operation in the ISEZ. Before his unit opened, Iradi heart patients went to Almaty or Turkey.[1]
