From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia
The Nurzhan Municipal Library is the main public library of Nurzhan, on Azatlık Prospect. Founded in 1931 and housed since 1958 in a granite building of the city's central district, it holds more than 300,000 volumes, most of them in Russian.[1] Its special collections include Soviet-era technical literature on the oil industry and a small collection of Persian and Chagatai manuscripts acquired in the 1930s.[1]
