Ichik
From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia
Ichik is a long winter coat lined with sheepskin or wolf fur and covered with dark wool cloth, worn by herders and, in the past, by elders on formal occasions. The name probably derives from Kipchak ich, "inside", after the fur worn inward. Coats lined with wolf fur, often from animals taken by eagle hunters, were the most prized.
