Dastgoh (Craft Term)

From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia

Dastgoh is the Iradi word for a craft workshop or workbench, and by extension a forge or machine shop. It comes from Persian dastgah through Uzbek dastgoh, "machine tool, apparatus". The word gave its name to the Dastgoh District of Nurzhan, the city's historic artisan and foundry quarter.
