Classic Iradi Music
Classic Iradi Music is an overnight music program on IradOne featuring traditional Iradi music and folk songs. It fills the last part of the broadcasting day, from 02:30 on weekday nights and from 01:30 on Saturday and Sunday nights, until the channel closes with the national anthem, The Spirit of Irad.[1]
The program has no presenter. It is made up of recordings from IradOne's archive, among them concert films of folk ensembles and of the Talas Symphony Orchestra, studio sessions of epic singers and küü players from the 1960s to the 1980s, and newer performances of horseback songs and laments, with captions giving the performers and the place and year of recording. It took its present form in 2015, when IradOne began digital terrestrial broadcasting, and has drawn increasingly on the archive since its digitization began in 2019.[1][2]
