Chyny-Kap
From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia
Chyny-Kap is a padded leather or felt case for carrying porcelain tea bowls on horseback. Chyny, "porcelain bowl", derives from the name of China, and kap means "bag". Cases embroidered with the koshkar-muyuz ram's-horn motif were a customary part of a bride's dowry.
