Beshbarmak (Culinary)
From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia
Beshbarmak ("five fingers", from besh, "five", and barmak, "finger") is the feast dish of boiled meat and flat noodles, traditionally eaten with the hands. Neighboring peoples often make it with horsemeat, but Iradi beshbarmak uses beef or mountain mutton because of the horsemeat taboo, and is served with onion broth (chyk) (see Beshbarmak (Iradi Style)).
