From Irad Wiki, the free encyclopedia

Baatyr Jorobek uulu (registered as Baatyr Zhorobekov; 1918–1991) was an Iradi priest who said secret Qurbanas in flats in Talas from 1964. He served two terms in the camps (1966–71 and 1977–82) and lived to see the churches reopen. He ordained no one, but kept a list of the baptisms he performed, which the archeparchy registered in 1992.[1]
