Arstan Medetov
Arstan Medetov (born 1975) is an Iradi telecommunications engineer who has been director of the Department of Infrastructure and Communications of the Irad Special Economic Zone (ISEZ) since 2021. His department runs the e-Irad e-government portal.[1]
Career
Medetov worked as a network engineer at Attelkom from 1998 to 2012, when he joined the department as a deputy director. He served under Aidar Maksat, director from 2016, and is regarded as his protégé; after Maksat became Lieutenant Governor in November 2019 he ran the department as acting director until his appointment in 2021.[1] The department is responsible for roads, telecommunications regulation and postal services, and its Digital Services Directorate launched the e-Irad pilot on 1 October 2026.[2]
