Arman Kadir (born 1960) is an Iradi sculptor who works in bronze. Born in Shymkent, he studied sculpture in Almaty and settled in Talas in 1993. He cast the memorial to the defenders of the 1992 siege of Talas in 1997. A solo exhibition, History in Bronze, opened at the Irad Palace of Art in 2026.[1]

Work

Kadir models in clay by hand and leaves the marks in the bronze. His subjects are elderly horsemen, the women and children of the siege, and horses; the maquette for the Talas memorial (1995) is in the Palace of Art.[1]
