Abdrai Heritage Foundation

The Abdrai Heritage Foundation (Iradi: Abdrai Murasy) is a family foundation in Talas, set up in 2011 by descendants of the Abdrai mingbashy, the hereditary commanders of the Christian cavalry under the khans of Kokand. It has restored the gate tower of the line's walled farmstead (korgon) below the old Talas forts and published the family's genealogy (sanjyra). Its chair is Temirbek Abdrai (born 1959), a retired engineer of Talas State University.[1]
