Viktor Schmidt

Viktor Schmidt (born 1950) is a Lutheran lay preacher in Nurzhan and the leader of the few hundred Volga Germans left in Irad. Most of the community left for Germany in 1990–93; he stayed to keep the prayer house open.[1]
