Nazira Isaeva

Nazira Isaeva (born 1976) is an Iradi glaciologist who has been scientific head of the Manas Peak Glaciological Observatory since 2016. She graduated in geography from Talas State University in 1998, earned the degree of Candidate of Sciences at the Institute of Geography in Moscow in 2005 and joined the observatory in 2006. She led its 2024 projections of glacier retreat. She is married and has one daughter.[1]
